At Yogis on Vacation, we believe in creating joyful, intentional experiences—and part of that includes being transparent about how we handle payments and cancellations. These policies help us honor our commitments to you, our retreat partners, and the spaces we co-create.
Deposits
To reserve your spot, a non-refundable deposit is required. This allows us to secure accommodations and begin crafting your retreat experience. If Yogis on Vacation needs to cancel due to low attendance, we’ll make every effort to refund your deposit in full. However, please note that some venue costs may be non-recoverable, and this may affect the total amount refunded. Retreats require a minimum number of participants to run. If this threshold isn’t met, we may need to cancel and will communicate with you promptly and transparently.
Payments
Each Yogis on Vacation retreat will have a specific payment deadline, clearly outlined in the retreat’s booking section. Final payment must be submitted by the designated date to confirm your spot. Timely payment helps us secure accommodations and prepare your experience with care. If full payment is not received by the deadline, we may need to release your spot to another guest, and your deposit may be forfeited.
Guest Cancellations
Payments made more than 90 days before the retreat start date are 75% refundable, not including the deposit. Payments made within 90 days of the retreat start date are non-refundable. We understand that plans can shift, and we’ll always do our best to support you with kindness and clarity within these guidelines. While we cannot guarantee refunds for guest cancellations, we’ll do our best to explore credit or transfer options when possible.
Retreat Cancellations
In the rare event that Yogis on Vacation must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (such as illness, travel restrictions, etc.):
We will do our best to reschedule, offering you priority booking or credit toward a future retreat.
If rescheduling is not possible, we’ll make every effort to issue full refunds, including deposits, but please understand that some venue or vendor payments may be non-refundable to us as hosts.
For any additional travel costs, we kindly ask that you seek reimbursement through your travel insurance provider.
Travel Insurance
For international retreats, travel insurance is required for all attendees. This helps protect your investment in case of unexpected changes. Please provide proof of insurance at least 30 days before the retreat begins. Guests who do not provide proof of insurance may be unable to complete final booking confirmation.
